How to Fix Intellisense for Libman json

In this video, we discuss how to Fix Intellisense for Libman.json for Client-Side Libraries ReSharper Bug. This seems to be a bug in ReSharper so in this video we tell you how to get around it but it’s not a perfect solution by any means, however, at least you will know what is causing the issue in the first place. We will work to submit a bug fix request to Jet Brains (ReSharper) soon.

How To Steps

Libman.json is used for Client Side Libraries, when reshaper is set for Intellisense Libman.json will not work with intellisense. To  fix this you have to do the following: 

1. In the Visual Studios Search bock look for “Resharper Options” 

2. Inside the General tab of the “Resharper Options” change it from Resharper to Visual Studios. 

3. Now your Libman.json file will be about to use Intellisense again. 

    

Conclusion

This is not a perfect solution and it would be much better to have JetBrains fix this bug.
